My first tattoo...

Last week, I decided that I wanted to get a tattoo for the first time in my life.  I've had piercings before (my ears and my eyebrow) but I've never really had any interest in getting a tattoo.  The reason why I finally did it is because I saw someone with a tattoo on their forearm and thought it looked cool.  Then I looked online and found a design that I really liked with a good meaning behind it.  After I thought about it for a couple of days, I knew for sure that I wanted to do this.  So I went to Skin Art Gallery located at Beltline and Midway in Addison, Texas and got my first tattoo on the underside of my forearm:

It's an Alpha and Omega symbol, and the meaning behind it comes from Revelation 1:8 in the Bible.  My approach with the design was to find something that represented my faith in God, but was also subtle and not cliché.  I hope that I accomplished this with my first tattoo.

Overall, I'm glad that I went through with this.  I think that Adam from Skin Art Gallery did an amazing job, and I would recommend him to anyone...

I think it's awesome. And I like how you say "first." Does that mean there are many more to come? ;)

Well, I have wanted to get a tattoo for a while, but I am waiting until I get older. Who knows what my thinking will be. I like the symbolism behind the Alpha to Omega and completely understand it. I like to think of it as a sign. Alpha to Omega...or Alpha Tau Omega....get it....ATO? Love and Respect!
